PHARMACEUTICAL PROPERTIES
An anthelmintic from the imidazothiazole family with great activity on the larval and adult forms of gastrointestinal and pulmonary strongles. The mode of action of Tetramisole is linked to muscle paralysis of the parasites. Tetramisole is well absorbed orally, it diffuses well in all tissues which allows it to reach pulmonary nematodes and forms in hypobiosis. Tetramisole is quickly metabolized by the liver and eliminated via the urine and bile.

Sheep and goats.
INDICATIONS
Treatment of gastrointestinal and pulmonary strongyloses.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Oral use in drinking water or food in single doses of: 15 mg DL-Tetramisole / kg or 1.77 g powder / 10 kg bodyweight. NB: Calculate the daily food or water ration and incorporate the medication
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND INTERACTIONS
Do not use in dairy females whose milk is intended for human consumption. Do not use in equines. Do not combine with organophosphates and any other substance that inhibits neuromuscular transmission.
SIDE EFFECTS
If the doses are respected, no side effects are observed in the target species. If signs of intoxication are observed, however, atropine is the first choice antidote for tetramisole.

•This soluble powder for oral preparation is intended to be dissolved in liquid food or water and cannot be used as it is.
• Respect the dose in dehydrated animals.
• Avoid handling this product in case of allergy.
• Handle this product taking precautions to avoid any risk of exposure.
• Avoid breathing dust and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Keep the product out of the reach of children.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat and offal: 7 days.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep the product in the original packaging, protect from light and at a temperature ≤ 25 ° C.
