PHARMACEUTICAL PROPERTIES
Abamectin or avermectin B1, is an antiparasitic of the family of avermectins endowed with a great activity as well on the internal parasites as external of the domestic animals. Abamectin is the most active fraction of all ivermectins. It acts on nematodes and arthropods via gamma amino-butyric acid (GABA). It causes its release from the presynaptic membrane and potentiates its binding to receptors located on the postsynaptic membrane. At the recommended doses, abamectin is very well tolerated in both adults and young people and can be used at all stages of gestation. Closantel is an anthelmintic commonly used in ruminants. Its therapeutic interest stems from both its excellent efficacy and its spectrum of activity, which covers parasites not affected by the main benzimidazoles, namely fluke and oestrosis, but also hematophagous nematodes including those resistant to the latter class of anthelmintics. This latter quality also makes it possible to combat the wear of benzimidazole anthelmintics, the resistance of which has already been demonstrated in sheep in Morocco. The combination of the two products, Abamectin and Closantel is complementary and makes it possible to cover all of the internal and cavitary parasites encountered in the target animals.

INDICATIONS
CLABAMAX is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodoses, fluke and oestrosis in target species.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
CLABAMAX is recommended orally as a single dose of 2.0 ml solution / 10 kg bodyweight, corresponding to 0.20 mg of Abamectin and 10.0 mg of Closantel per kilogram of bodyweight.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND INTERACTIONS
Clabamax is prohibited in dairy females whose milk or its derivatives are intended for human consumption and in dairy females 28 days before parturition.
SIDE EFFECTS If the doses are respected, no side effects are observed in the target species.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

- Avoid contamination of water points
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Destroy the bottle after use.

- Meat and offal: 28 days
- Milk: CLABAMAX is prohibited in dairy females whose milk or its derivatives are intended for human consumption
